In a show of support for the people of Ukraine, Hunters Run Country Club raised $54,000 to donate to World Central Kitchen’s “Chefs for Ukraine” to provide hot and fresh meals to Ukrainian refugees fleeing the Russian invasion. Members organized a Ukraine Donation Drive with multiple donation stations set up around the Club indoors and outdoors. Members who donated received a Ukrainian flag to proudly display their support and hope for the people of Ukraine.

On March 15, 2022, Hunter’s Run Country Club held its annual “Step Up to Wellness” event to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Association Southeast Florida Chapter. This event began in 2019 as a means to promote health and wellness education to the members of Hunters Run.

Jennifer M. Chavez joined the Club as its new Assistant General Manager. Ms. Chavez will assist in overseeing Club activities, special projects, and capital planning. Chavez comes to Hunters Run with over 25 years of experience in the private golf, yacht, and country club industry.

All eyes are now focused on Hunters Run Country Club as Larry Savvides begins his leadership role as its new Chief Operating Officer, General Manager.
